Blood Transfusion Safety in Sub-Saharan Africa

The next webinar on " Blood Transfusion Safety in Sub-Saharan Africa" will be presented on Wednesday February 5, 2020 at 03:00 PM CET by Claude Tayou Tagny.

Claude Tayou Tagny is an Associate Professor of Haematology and Blood Transfusion at the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences, University of Yaoundé, Cameroon. Claude works for Safe Blood for Africa Foundation, the Africa Society for Blood Transfusion and is a blood safety consultant for WHO. He published more than 70 peer-reviewed articles in the blood safety area.

Aim of the webinar: To provide an update on the status, the progress and challenges related to blood transfusion safety in Subsaharan Africa.
Level of education required (scale 1 to 5): The minimal level is 3 intermediate (practical application).
Prior knowledge required: There is no specific prior knowledge if you are working in the field of blood transfusion safety. 
Target audience: Scientists, blood bankers, transfusion practitioners, master of PhD students, experts in a certain area.
