Affiliate membership is open to individual member national blood transfusion societies, blood services and blood centres. All Affiliate members will be required to name one representative and must agree to abide by the ISBT Code of Ethics.
The ISBT Code of Ethics is currently under review, and it is the goal of the Standing Committee on Ethics to agree on a revision during the General Assembly at the Copenhagen Congress in June 2017.
Acceptance is decided by the Board of Directors.
