The virtual congress ISBT2022 was the 37th International Congress of the ISBT held between June 4-8, 2022.
The Versatility of Platelets and their Products session included the following presentations:
1. Thierry Burnouf: Application of platelet lysates in medicine
2. Zhen Gu: Platelets for Drug Delivery
3. Saeede Bagheri: L-carnitine diminishes mitochondrial DNA DAMPs and platelet storage lesions during storage of platelet concentrates
4. Han Qi (Wayne) Zhao: The inhibition of Glucose-6-Phosphate dehydrogenase in room and cold-stored platelets
